Abstract
Arte Útil kavramı “yararlı sanat” olarak tanımlanabilir. Sanatın toplumsal dönüşümde bir araç olarak kullanılabileceği teorisinin pratik olarak kendine ifade ve uygulama alanı bulabildiği, toplum içinde sanat için yeni kullanımlar öneren, uygulanabilir ve gerçek durumlara karşılık gelir. Arte Útil, sanatın toplumsal girişiminin bir parçası olarak dayanışma, çoğulluk, birlikte yapma eylemlerinin deneyimleneceği estetik bir ortaklığı araştırır. Bu estetik deneyim, kentin dinamik ve çoklu bileşenlerinin kendilerine ifade alanları yaratabilmesinin önünü açan, zamanı ve mekânı yeniden inşa edebilen pratik çözüm uygulamalarıdır. Bu araştırma Arte Útil kavramının temsilcisi olan Küba’lı sanatçı Tania Bruguera’nın çalışmaları aracılığıyla sosyal bir araç olarak sanatın kullanım alanlarını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Arte Útil başlığı altında yürütülen çalışmalar araştırılmış ve bu çalışmaların sanatın bir araç olarak toplumsal sorunlara müdahaleler yoluyla çözümler üretebileceği görülmüştür.

Abstract
The concept of Arte Útil can be defined as “useful art”. It is the realization of the theory that states art can be used as a tool in the social transformation that corresponds to the real and applicable situations in society. Arte Útil searches for an experience in which the act of solidarity, plurality, and doing together will be experienced as a part of a social initiative of art as an aesthetic partnership. This aesthetic experience is the practical solutions that rebuild time and space and it also enables the dynamic and multiple components of the city to express themselves. This study aims to examine the usage areas of art as a social tool through the works of Cuban artist Tania Bruguera, who is the most active representative of the concept of Arte Útil. The studies carried out within the concept of Arte Útil have been researched and it has been detected that these studies produced solutions to social problems through interventions that are using art as a tool.
