The tiles, which are a significant group of glazed ceramic items, are structurally multi-layered composite products that are ready for use after a gradual manufacturing process. Production flaws in tiles can be visible based on the gradual production method and product diversity, as well as other aspects such as environmental impacts that develop with time, regions of usage, human factors, and repairs. Within the scope of the study, the tile manufacturing technique was described, as well as the deteriorations that emerged as a result of the tile production process and the variables influencing these deteriorations. From this perspective, it is hoped that it will contribute to the correct determination of deterioration and deterioration factors that may occur due to production in tile products that are valuable as cultural assets, as well as to the classification of production problems in tiles as an industrial product.
